The vectir mouse control feature lets you use your remote control as a wireless mouse pointer. You can use your remote control
to move the mouse pointer around the screen and send mouse click commands. The mouse control support is provided by the mouse plugin,
Mouse.dll. The latest version of this plugin is available on the vectir website. The
version number of the mouse plugin is available on the 'About' tab of the mouse setup dialog.
To update to a newer version of the Mouse plugin, follow these steps:
- Download the latest version of the Mouse plugin from the Vectir website.
- Close Vectir.
- Locate the Vectir install location and open the Vectir\Plugins\System folder.
- Replace the existing Mouse.dll file with the newer one that you have just downloaded.
- Open Vectir again and the updated mouse plugin should be ready to use.
Mouse button commands
- Left Click - Simulates a mouse left button click event.
- Middle Click - Simulates a mouse middle button click event.
- Right Click - Simulates a mouse right button click event.
- Left Double Click - Simulates a mouse left button double click event.
- Middle Double Click - Simulates a mouse middle button double click event.
- Right Double Click - Simulates a mouse right button double click event.
Cursor commands
- Move Left - Moves the mouse cursor left.
- Move Right - Moves the mouse cursor right.
- Move Down - Moves the mouse cursor up.
- Move Up - Moves the mouse cursor down.
Cursor Acceleration
The cursor acceleration track-bar lets you adjust the rate at which the cursor accelerates when moving across the screen.
Without cursor acceleration, the cursor would take an inconvieniently long time to move across the screen.
